“The work we have been doing together is one of the most impactful milestones of my adult life, and I would not say this if it wasn't true. It is hard not to sound over-emphatic when trying to put into words something of this magnitude, so I hope you know that everything I say reflects what I feel, and it's not meant to be taken as a figure of speech. I can truly draw a distinct line, a "before" and an "after", of the way I perceive myself and the world, and therefore how I act, interpret, respond in and to both myself and the world. After coaching with you, all of these things have transformed in the most radical way so far. All other transformations that continue to be happening could not have been possible, I believe, without the foundations we laid together, and so often it happens to me that I have a small (or big) realisation, which brings me a little bit further, and I link it back to something that had emerged with you, and that is only in that moment coming to fruition.”

"Rachel feels like an undercover soul journeyer. She can very easily speak the languages of the professional world and academia while fully valuing the language of all things sacred and mysterious as well. In our coaching work together, I was often surprised by how our time together felt so organic, as if we were just chatting, yet my life began to blossom in very specific, concrete ways. Without having to build a bunch of to-do lists, I began to accomplish my goals with a sense of spaciousness and creativity. I was also keenly aware that part of what made this a spacious process was that Rachel regularly checked in about what I needed, what pace felt good to me, and then tailored her approach based on our check-ins. I felt witnessed and supported. I also really appreciate Rachel’s ongoing commitment to her own growth. This gave me the sense like we were growing together, and my voice mattered just as much as hers did. Our sessions felt empowering…and also so fun!

Are you ready to step into your creative courage?

Creative courage isn’t about having no fear. It’s about recognising what’s been blocking your creative expression and choosing to create anyway—with support, structure and a community that sees your light.

There are two strands to my work. Both support, in complementary ways, those who are committed to transforming their inner creative blocks and expressing the truth of who they really are:

The Creative Courage Circle

The Creative Courage Circle is a community whose members are committed to authentic expression. It’s an ongoing group that supports you to recognise what holds you back with your creativity, embrace the value of your voice and witness the creative essence—the unique light—in others.

The Creative Courage Circle helps you:

  • See your creative blocks clearly for the first time

  • Develop the courage to create even when it’s imperfect

  • Take action on your creative projects with consistent support

  • Share your work with others and claim the uniqueness of your creative voice

The Creative Courage Circle is for you if:

  • You know you have something to express but keep holding back

  • You’re a writer with a project that never seems to get finished

  • You’re an artist, creator or entrepreneur who needs community and accountability

  • You’ve tried other courses or programmes, but find they haven’t provided the inner work that addresses what’s underneath your creative blocks

Creative Courage Mentorship

For those ready for deep transformation, the Creative Courage Mentorship pairs private 1:1 Creative Essence work with full Circle membership—transforming into fuel the patterns that have kept you stuck and prevented you from authentic creative expression. It’s a partnership in which we explore your core fears about creativity and expression and uncover what’s held you back.

The Creative Courage Mentorship strand is for you if:

  • You’re an established creative who’s at a creative crossroads or breakthrough moment

  • You’re ready to go deep to explore your creative blocks and patterns

  • You want private intensive work coupled with the support of being in a community in which others are exploring the same challenges

  • You’re a creator launching something significant (a book, a business, a big project of some kind)

  • You’ve done therapy/coaching before but never applied it to your creative practice

If you recognise yourself in any of the above and want to talk further about how we might work together, contact me on email or book a no-cost 30 minute creative breakthrough call.

Words of appreciation

“Rachel coaches with an intuitive presence that is, in a word, magical. No matter the subject, Rachel gives you space to dive into exploration and then supports your integration within a safe container. Leaving a session with her, I always feel seen, heard and ready to experiment with all the insights we discovered together. As a Coach myself, she is my absolute, top of list, go-to fellow Coach!”

Claire Takahashi. Life Coach and Morning Altars practitioner guide, USA and South Africa

“I felt safe, held and fully supported by Rachel as I explored very vulnerable places. In one or two sessions we were able to gain some deep insights into the parts of myself that are in conflict with one another. She was very respectful and never pushed me further than I was willing to go. I feel more connected to all parts of my psyche now and much more at peace and integrated. I cant imagine someone that wouldn’t be helped by her insight, honesty and creative coaching.”

“I approached Rachel at a time when I was working from home, and facing a variety of pressures on my time, and my capacity to deliver a project that had been postponed for 4 years by the pandemic. I was worried that years of hard work might slip away to nothing.

The project that I was working on was not a straightforward play and I was worried that a collaborator might not understand my aims and objectives, but I need not have feared.

Rachel listened. She asked careful pertinent questions. She was receptive to viewing films that were a significant part of the play, even though they were not part of the script, and she helped me realise that I was producing more of an art installation than a traditional play.

Working with Rachel helped me carve out time for a project that I felt passionately about. She was patient and understanding when I lost faith in my own ability to deliver, and her encouraging words brought me back on track each time.

I highly recommend Rachel if you are in need of a supportive collaborator and guide for any creative project.

“Oh Rachel, I had so much fun with you yesterday. You are an absolute delight!  I love your personality and energy and sense of humor. I got so much out of being coached by you. It’s amazing how powerful kind, compassionate attention can be.”

“Thank you so much, Rachel. Your clarity has been just what I needed. Since we spoke, I have written daily and feel liberated by the permission to write in an unstructured, non-academic, un-referenced way from my heart. I am exploring my ‘why’, which is deep work but is helping me understand the reasons for my desire to foreground the themes of my research that are so prescient. I feel I am making leaps and connections. And, most of all, I’m loving it!

PhD researcher, UK.

I’ve loved working with Rachel and she’s been a massive inspiration and wholehearted advocate of me. Rachel is full of insight and wisdom, ideas and invitations to learn and develop. Right from the start, making agreements for how we would work together, she was committed to working in the best way for me, which in my case often included ‘homework’ with deadlines, so I felt I was making progress and investing in myself in between sessions.

The work we did included talking and sharing, reflecting and reframing aswell as some structured creative work – I loved the process of identifying my essence, looking at my life to-do list through different sorting lenses and exploring my complicated relationship with time.

Rachel supported me through some really difficult times and she always had my back and gave me back my power. We also had fun and a shared energy. Rachel was always really prompt with things, really open and flexible – I felt (and feel still) that I can always call on her if I need to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend working with Rachel. It was a gift to myself and one which keeps on giving, as I hear her words in my head continuing to guide me.

I enjoyed our coaching so much and, not long afterwards, I was offered a module leadership role in my area of research at my preferred university, very much out of the blue. I felt that the possibility we explored together – the thing that I wished for most when talking to you -- has come true and been even better than I hoped for. Talking to you convinced me that I could say yes to the opportunity immediately and gave me the confidence to feel I could do it without stress. So, thank you, Rachel! You really do offer something really special.

Dr Emma Dyer, writer, researcher and module leader, UK

“Working with Rachel, I’ve learned that creativity can start from the tiniest thing. Different aspects of truth can be pulled into a transformation of ideas into a story of aliveness, interest and acceptance. It's been liberating exploring writing using elements that are already within me—a spaciousness to allow new frameworks for creativity to emerge.

Rachel’s kindness, wisdom and vast, generous experience have been both encouraging and confidence building, offering structure and affirmation to what I’ve found intuitively.”

Alison Pilling. Founder and director, Sex School for Grown Ups, Greece

The sessions with Rachel have been completely transformational. I have gained so much insight into myself, and am so grateful for the discoveries we have made. I now feel very positive and excited about the future, which I certainly didn't when we started the sessions. Rachel is so kind, brave, intuitive and an incredible coach. I feel so grateful that I have been able to do these sessions and I know that the work we have done will inform the rest of my life.

It will take a while for all the insights and discoveries to soak into my life, but I can already feel like I am able to choose to act from my essence more and more, and I am able to identify and soothe the defence mechanisms when they pop up. It's exactly what I wanted when I originally got in touch - sessions that look forwards and inwards, rather than backwards (like therapy, which is incredibly helpful but not that useful for moving forwards intentionally in my personal experience).
